Have you ever gone through a difficult time in your life and wondered if you would ever get over it!?

Or have you ever tried to get over it and the very people that you considered friends or people who you thouht were there for you kept reminding you of pasts hurts or mistakes?

One of my favorite words is “HOPE.”

It allows me the opportunity to stand and take a deep relxing breath. HOPE gives me joy in knowing the best is yeat to come!

I REFUSE sit in a place of pain when I was born to walk with PURPOSE!

There have been many who have suffered from hurts that they themselves or others have caused. The mistakes, hurts, or pain does not have to define them but it can be a defining and defying moment!

Take a moment to be honest with yourself.

It takes courage to turn inward and get investigatively honest about what you are really feeling and acknowledge the reason for that emotion.

However if done right, it can be a moment of redefinement. A moment where you take that emotion and use it as motivation in taking the necessary steps to reach your goals and achieve your dreams.

You can look at that pain, mistake, or whatever it is, square in the face and defy it by proclaiming, “I AM BETTER THAN THIS!”

This might require that you get a new set of friends. This action does not imply that you are better than them. it just means that you want and aspire for better. If the people that surround you keep giving you feelings of going backwards or reminding you of pasts hurts then it is time to MOVE ON!!! THEY DO NOT HOLD THE PLANS FOR YOUR DESTINY!

Hopes and dreams do not have to come to a crashing halt because of pasts hurts! Keep moving forward.

Who knows…

Maybe through the hurt you receive new friends, new plans, and new dreams! Just keep moving.
